Infinite Scroll
This September Big Art Rotterdam & Glue Amsterdam
and in October at Kazerne during the Dutch Design Week
2026 marks Tjep.’s 25th anniversary, celebrated with Infinite Scroll: a series of kinetic sculptures that take the most reflexive gesture of modern life — the scroll — out of our thumbs and into the room. As the image above hints, a free-standing robots autonomously operating a screen, turning an ironic, unblinking eye on the spirit of our own scrolling age. Six perform together at the Codrico Factory (Rotterdam) and the Waag Futurelab (Amsterdam) this September; the work is released as a limited edition of 25 in brass, stainless or corten steel — one for each year of the studio’s practice.

Idea
before form
Since 2001, from Amsterdam. Jewellery, products, furniture, interiors, public space. Work that catches the present in the act — with a touch of irony, always driven by curiosity. Built with the craft the idea deserves. Five disciplines, one refusal.
“ The collaboration with Frank was truly inspiring.
The design for the entrance gate of Het Loo Palace was both powerful and elegant, exceeding all our expectations.
A contemporary jewel for a centuries-old palace. “
